HP Procurve Power Supplies: Exclusive Product Reviews

As an information technology professional and systems administrator, one of the things that you should carefully watch for are your power supplies. While it may seem that your external power supply hardware is the least you should worry about, think again. Without a reliable power supply at your disposal, your IT infrastructure will fail miserably and power outages will be quite common. Plus, there will be a greater risk for your hardware to start malfunctioning if they experience constant fluctuations in electricity.

The question is, should you just settle for the “standard” power supply items available in the market today? Or will you go for something special? As an IT blogger and enthusiast, my personal recommendation is that you should choose and buy HP Procurve power supplies products when it comes this. Please take note that I have no commercial interests in HP Procurve. I just happen to find them to have the best power supply items out there in the market today. Hewlett Packard literally kicks ass in this area.

There are three items from HP that I would like to recommend for you today:

J8168A - HP ProCurve 600 RED External Power Supply

This power supply model can be purchased with an option of 100 to 120 VAC, or 200 to 240 VAC. Your choice depends on the type of power outlets available in your home or office. I like this flexibility. Other tech hardware give you a flat out voltage specification, with no room for freedom. Because this is a “redundant power supply”, possible performance decline over time is minimized

J8696A - HP Procurve 620 Red External Power Supply

This is similar to the above item but this one has more advanced specifications. The J8696A is good for corporate IT systems and advanced communication networks that demand better connectivity and power.

J8712A - HP ProCurve SW ZL 875W Power Supply

This powerful IT component can produce 875 watts of voltage at any given time. It is perfect as a supporting source of power for your systems. If you have a main power supply, the J8712A can serve as a spare supply in case of emergency. It can also power secondary computer networks and systems.
In Australia, anyone can purchase these latest HP Procurve Power Supplies at half the price by looking for IT distributors in local suburbs. Visit http://www.sonixtechnology.com.au
